I had an eBay account that was limited because of the items I was selling- cosmetics- I sent in required paperwork, had 100% positive feedback and 5.0 DSRs across the board. Needless to say, I'm a bit annoyed. I still have a good portion of inventory left and it's just sitting here rotting. Does anyone have any good resources or examples of what a good "low risk" item would be to sell for future sales? I'm trying to make about 3-6k in profit a month, have a long term business model and cosmetics are too "high risk."

depends on your business model I guess, low risk would be anything that is not VERO and wasn't forbidden by CPSC.
So you got all the Chinese products such as clothes, watches, mice, but you probably already know about it, other will be used products.

I feel like watches would be high risk

try not to sell very expensive items as most of those are HIGH RISK!

All designer/branded/VERO and expensive items are high risk. Try to sell more generic items.

Yes, try to do what most of the users do( most common tasks) , they have an algorithm to determine what is risky and what not. Try to avoid that .
