So I researched tens of good niche keywords, started working hard on this website and later I realized it's a failure project as my aim was too high. I thought, why not try something before dumping it so I started blasting it with scrapebox comments for many consecutive days and all what happened was pages started dropping in ranking and they never got back up again. I wanted to make the viral effect but in reality, G counts only on the links quality and not the social popularity. Apparently, going viral can also harm your website.

So the site got shot and it's dead, thanks for reading.

Yea, always quality over quantity I guess.
SB blasts are probably the worst because you know every page will already have been spammed to death, so the value of the link will either be minimal or detrimental.

Scrapebox comments = Social popularity?

I don't think so.

In the real sense, of having a popularity in the society on the internet, not the technical sense such as facebook, twitter, G+ etc.

The best spam links one can get nowadays is Guestbooks, Trackbacks and ******** blog comments. I am testing this and ranking for pretty big terms in low competition niches. The point here is, keep it consistent and your rankings would rise..Dont expect to get ranked just with one kind of link i.e blog comments. Try other platforms too

Correction:

Auto Approve Scrapebox Blasts to your pages/sites are always bad. Every single AA comment page is spammed with thousands of OBL with anchors like "free porn" "buy viagra" "trade forex", etc. Each page has most certainly been flagged by google as a spam page! AA comment blasts are the single worst most toxic junk you can possibly post to your site. Negative SEO? You just hit the jackpot!

Haha, something like that. I also wanted to stretch SB a bit, it's been asleep for a good while. :)
