Hey guys. I'm pretty new here. And new to IM (maybe you can tell by the following post).

I was wondering how you guys link to your tier 2 websites. I'm doing my research on link building, but it's all mixed to reading before penguin and after. I wanted to know if there was any free/ low priced software or online tool that I would be able to get a ton of backlinks (no matter what the quality) to my tier 2 backlinks? I'm extremely low on funds, but would be open to buying something more pricey once I get some money behind me. It's very sad, I'm even behind on my rent. I feel embarrassed.

Would blasting a ton of crappy links at a tier 1 site work too or no?

Thanks for any advice you can give. :)

I don't know about any free SEO tools for doing that. What is your idea of low cost? Name a $ amount and someone may be able to suggest something.

have you tried fiverr or seoclerks? There you can find tons of backlinks for just a few bucks

Well I would like to say $30 per month. But I know how crazy that is. Maybe for an article automator?

Thanks I never thought of fiverr. Can the sellers be trusted though? I've not bought a lot on fiverr, just made a few bucks here and there.

Fiverr is the same as anywhere else I'd say. Some can be trusted and some can't.

fiver is good but most links are spammed so be careful while selecting

There are several threads on here that offer all sorts of backlinks for under $5... Better here than Fiverr or SEO clerks IMO.
