Low PR site Outranks High PR site

Hey guys, can anyone explain this to me. Many times i noticed that sites with low pr, backlinks, and domain age outranks sites with high pr, backlinks and domain age.
As for the keyword i am trying to rank for, none of these sites have the keyword in their title, url, header or description.

So what other factors are used to rank a site?

If someone knows what they are doing, they can rank very well with a high quality link wheel which will not show up when you check the back links for the ranking domain.

Dig deeper and analyze the back links of the back links for the high ranking site. You will usually find a lot more work there. Hope that helps.

PR doesnt matter as much as it used to. Keep on building backlinks and you will be fine!

how much is pwns depends on a shit ton of factors, basically everything anyone ever puts into their SEO.

I myself had the same question. I firstly used some market web analizer tool, free or paid to dig.
The results were very disapointed. They could only analyze 1 page, not whole site. I myself digded the whole site after that with my handmade tool. The results were very clearly. They got nearly all factor fitted which SEO-gurus teach us.
I dont know which tool you use, but for sure, the number 1 always have treasure.
