I have submitted my 2 sites to directories, one by using 1000 directory hand submission services on this site and one months later I only find 100 links given, while another by using directory submission software to automatically submit to 50 directories and only find 6 accepted one months later.

Would you please share with me what is your directory submission acceptance rate and how to improve my directory submission strategy?

Thanks!

make sure you do everything manually. also please wait little more months for your site to get accepted by directories. it does not happens that much quick.

Yeah it takes a few months to get accepted by directories. Best thing for you to do is to submit manually or hire someone to submit manually for you.

What type of site is it? If it's something like porn or pharms than you'll probably be out of luck.

It is a normal site.
I am tired to building backlinks via a lot of method: blog commenting, article marketing, bookmarking.
Maybe I should make a big investment on xrum and focus on the profile building.Better to focus on a method than wasting time on many time consuming method:(

First of all directory submission take time to approved link it taks up to 90 days to review, it's alwasy good tio submit manually in proper category. Where as some time it's also fail back link checker to catch the directory link it need time to catch

It will take time to approve i guess.wait for some more time dude...

Links from directories have one advantage that they will stay active for a long time, but very few of them may get approved or indexed. For better results you should use a directory submitter which will allow you to rotate title texts, descriptions automatically; and you should take care to choose the correct category while submitting your site.

Typical reasons for getting auto rejected are having a free email for the confirmation (Say no to gmail!), not having the email at the same domain as being submitted, submitting sub-domains and deep links.

Also keep in mind that a lot of directories charge money for getting your site listed. I submitted my site to a lot of directories recently (with auto-submitters) and most of emails I received said that my site wasn't listed because I hadn't paid money.

... but does G etc know that these are paid for, and therefore disregard them? You could get loads of links like this, but my biggest worry is that then powers that be know you have paid.
