Hello all,
I need your help with something.
Last week i started to advertise via fb ads and i am getting a really nice rate of $0.04 per 1000 impressions which is great but the problem is that my
CTR is %0.006 and that means that out of almost 30k impressions i got just 2 clicks and spent a bit more then $1 for it.
So my question is how do i improve it to get a better CTR?
I see people with %0.300 CTR and i can get it even to %10 of it.
So if there is an fb ads expert here please suggest me something to get better results.
Thank you.

what do you mean my vertical?

I have the same issue. High impression rate but low ctr. To me adds are refreshed all the time so if peoples computers is unattended or browser is open adds is changed all the time which to me is no good which I think is the reason you get high impression rate and low ctr

i wasted $200 on facebook ads once.
i watched the 20 clicks come in all at once from dummy traffic

target many countries on one campaign and you'll see some improvements! atleast 3 countries per campaign and one of them should be a third world country.

Kikiriki,

Have your reviewed your ad copy and your calls to action? Are they compelling? What kind of images are you using in your ad? Sometimes the images and the colors can affect click through rate. Have you tried developing multiple versions of the same ad to see which performs better of a period of time?

Also, how much to you know about your target market? Have you configured your account in a way that focuses on these users? Once you are able to answer some of these questions definitively, you should be able to increase your CTR.

Here are some tips on changing your ads to improve CTR,

Hope that helps,

i think it's all about targeting man.

work on the target-audience and the copy.
also for me personally images of people worked best.

You've got to find split test your ad image and copy. Demographics, ages, gender, and most important, you must TARGET well.

Example:
1-Find an offer related to Tennis
2-Make 20 ads, all different copy and image, while targeting 30+ Females who likes Tennis. You can add tennis player name, etc, anything related to the principle niche. After it's all split-testing and optimizing. The more you optimize, the less you pay per click, and the faster you'll profit.

Easy as 1-2-3.
