Low cpc Adsense

Hey guys,

Last Few months Adsense cpc and rpm have been great, but obviously because of Q4 budgets being utilised Jan cpcs are always low.

Just wondering if you guys have also experienced low cpc on Adsense this month?

Placement of ads is another important factor. If you've 5 ad spaces on your page – there is high probability that the ad with highest CPC will be served in the first space. The CPC decreases towards the bottom of the page. So, if clicks are coming from the 4th of five ad spaces – it is likely that you'll get a low CPC.

Steps to stop low CPC ads on AdSense :

Click the "Advertiser URLs" menu and enter the full URL of any site that advertises poorly with low CPC, or is associated with low keyword visibility. Click the "Block URLs" button to block these URLs.

I would probably try to rank for high cpc keywords and go from there.
