Low Compt Keyword, how to start right ?

I have a niche with very low (almost non-existent) compt level, how do I start to climb up Google ranking ?

My plan:

Blogspot redirect with social locker
Google Alert for spam
Youtube ranking video
Slideshare
Disqus
Reddit

Do you have any experience with it ? Please share, I know everything takes time, but to do it right is more important

Make a high authority links,it is enough for you..
