Is there any reasonable site that gives good statistics to look these up. I know semrush is the best but is there anything out there more reasonable?

Because you can exploit the free 1 month trial option of Semrush (can be done by simply using a $1 VCC and clearing cookies on your browser) which is not available for Ahrefs.
Besides, Semrush pro plan has no credit system like Ahrefs which makes it truly unlimited. On Ahrefs every action you perform costs you credit (yeah, every single click on the Ahrefs dashboard costs 1 credit no matter what the click is intended for).

You can go for Keyword Everywhere, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
