lots of worthless webcam links

This is a method for getting shitloads of links from the one site if you have a webcam on your site.

Now they are pretty pointless as far as rankings go as they only count as one link, so don't get too excited.

But I'm beginning to like these kinda links as they may scare off a competitor with sheer numbers and will also cloud the results when anyone's looking at your links

The earthcam site seems to keep search results and these pages are indexed by google. So everytime someone searches for a webcam in my whole country I'm given another link. They are all DF and all with anchor text as well as an image link.

As I said before it's just to boost link numbers, but it only takes a minute to do.

Call me stupid, but I don't understand how this works. Can you explain it a bit more clearly?

IF your site has a webcam register it at earthcamdotcom.

Every time someone searches for one of your tags a page is created, this page is then indexed by G

You only really get the one link from the one IP but this will grow into thousands of actual links.

As I said above - it will only count as one link in G's eyes but will make it way harder for anyone to see your actual links as there will be thousands of these webcam search result pages in there.

Also I beleive you may scare a possible competitor away from your niche as the'll see a majorly inflated linkcount.

Maybe I'm also putting this up here as a possible footprint or security hole for someone a bit more talented than me to examine
