Lost Traffic on my Website after Google SPAM Update

@catchsri

It's not Ezoic. I have had one site on mediavine and one on ezoic get raped by this update.

From my understanding there is absolutely 0 correlation between any variables and why sites got hit - people are "experts" but unless they got hit and recovered (which they didn't), how can you trust them?

My sites are like yours, not thin, not spam and original/well written, but 2/3 got hit for seemingly no reason.

Personally I am still waiting to see if anything happens - especially as I am having huge indexing issues right now.
I made a thread about it but so far I had exactly the same experience as you for when and how my traffic got hit.

Indexing issues on the sites I own:
Site 1 - didn't get hit - Unaffected
Site 2 - got hit - no indexing since 19th~ and some pages are now unindexed/uncrawled
Site 3 - got hit - no indexing since 19th~ and some pages are now unindexed/uncrawled
Site 4 - around 4 months old - only 10% of articles indexed by google
Site 5 - 1 month old - 0 articles indexed

Everything is submitted with a sitemap in GSC and I have also tried to manually submit URL's - this doesn't seem to work either.

This is why I would avoid doing any drastic changes on your site right now. Until google is working properly, or at least semi-efficiently, we can't know what is going on. Even if you change something, it won't be noticed right now and has been like this for 20~ days.

I have edited my articles too but when i checked my search console, google never crawled anything after 18 Oct 2022 so it makes no sense to update my articles when google is not even crawling the site anymore. Did you checked your search console? when was your last crawl happened by google?
Any update on your site recovery??

Facing the same issue, traffic goes down 40-50% on some of my websites. Simple way to get recover is stay consistent towards the tasks and try to make more and more genuine backlinks with unique content.
