Hey I lost my wallet file for my Electrum wallet. I cannot find it, thtought I had a another backup but its not there.

I have a paper full of codes, words etc.

I tried some but I am not able to restore it. Not sure what to do.

I created a wallet with Multibit 2017 or so and then I could change to Electrum 2019 I think. From then on I only had these wallet files where I opened them with Electrum and typing the password.
I still have the password to access the wallet file but there is not wallet file anymore. I cannot find it.

Not sure what I need to restore my wallet. Only the words? Seed? Do I have to use an old Electrum version?
I tried some things but it always show 0.

Thanks

Yes I know, I wont give anyone anything. Thanks for your advice.

Hello I gained access to my wallet through SEED but was a hard work to get it done.
Somebody else could have seen the SEED but I doubt he knows what that is.

How to save all my funds?

Create a new electrum wallet with new seed/pw and then transfer all funds to that wallet?

If you are in the wallet
you should transfer your assets out to a new wallet and this time around iron-proof your back up methods.

OK inside Electrum I create a new wallet with new seed, back up the seed and give it a good password (backup)

And then I transfer from Wallet 1 to Wallet 2.

I just use one of the receipant adresses from wallet 2? Sorry for asking this
Just wanna make sure it dont get lost

Sorry I might be wrong, if i am can you correct me.

If you have the seed. Just print it and its the backup.
If the seed is not online. It cant be hacked or something!?

if wallet2 is from the same as your seed for wallet 1
then that's not separate at all

if they have recovery (even without the seed) then can still get in.
Also, it's just like losing your phone and getting it from the lost & found.
You would change you phone pins & possibly your pws & bank passwords asap.
Never leave it up to chance

I mean Wallet 2 is from a new created wallet with new seed.
Wallet 1 is the old one with funds.

Should I make 1 transfer to a receipant adress of wallet 2?
Also afraid of making a mistake
