A few projects I'm implementing have encountered a situation where I checked Google Search Console and site:URL was still indexed.
However, when I search for the URL, article title, then article title + brand on Google, the first results do not appear.
=> Some of the worst URLs are FLOATED from the TOP even though they were previously at a very stable high TOP.
Here is the solution for it:
1. Whitewash the article: Submit the URL and it will go back to TOP, but when you re-upload the content and gg bot crawls it again, you will encounter the above situation again.
2. Delete the URL and re-index
3. Audit content
4. Try posting that article on another site
