Lost Finale Made Me Cry

Its finally over? Wait, i think its playing right now where I live!

I thought it was beautiful!

Don't get out much, do you? ;)

I never saw even so much as a single episode of that travesty of reality and will miss it like not at all.

I am reminded of Henry Gibson's famous question on "Laugh In":

"Marshall McLuhan, what are you doin'?"

Just as the ending to a series I did watch sucked beyond belief; so bad that I won't even watch re-runs; "The Sopranos".

Worst ending in the history of television.

Try The Military or HIstory Chanells.

Good stuff if you can handle REALITY!

The finale made me want to go shoot the writers, They left so much unexplained. In fact they just added more holes instead of resolving the ones that where already there. Its like they just didnt give a shit because its the last episode.

I guess Hollywood writers are losing their edge or maybe they will write a show named "Found" to tie up all the holes in "Lost".:D

I have only ever seen the first episode, did they find what they lost? sorry i couldnt resist it.

I have the entire lot on DVDs so i think im gonna have to watch them sometime.

I think it was a remarkable finale and they brought everything to a close very nicely.

They answered all the questions in a very abstract way so you can find your own meaning in the series.

If you still have unanswered questions you should look inside of yourself rather than blame the series for not explaining everything in detail for you.

Its all there, you just have to put the pieces together...

Im gonna bag it tonight. Too much work to watch it for 3 hours lol.

I hope everyone dies and the black smoke starts killing every human in the world when it gets away from that island. Just a wishful thought :D

It was very touching indeed.

I thought the most moving scene was when Sawyer and Juliet got back together.

Lost is so freaking retarded. 100% glad its over with. I watched part of the 1st and 2nd seasons and completely 'lost' interest.

Please read this only if you've seen the finale

Am I right in assuming that everything did happen (plane crashed, bombed exploded etc), and all characters died at some time(some on, some off the island), only to all meet in the church(which is heaven)? And that those "flash-sideways" we thought we were seeing, was basically their lives in the afterlife, trying to reunite with each other?
And why didn't Ben enter, is it cause he couldn't go to heaven? Also, I don't remember seeing them, but were Richard, Vncent, Walt etc inside the church?

I've only seen like 2 episodes but I always thought it was about some people who got stranded on an island trying to get off, then I watch an episode and it's talking about time travel and shit. Definitely a show you can't miss episodes with otherwise it makes no sense.

Yes, everything on the island happened, and everything that happened when they first left the island happened, too. The alternate story line of this season was the world that they created so that they could find each other after they died. That final scene in the church (alternate storyline) took place like 80 years after the final scene where we see Jack die because Aaron is at the church, too.

They didn't resolve all the mysteries of the lost island, but they answered all of the big questions.

I think that the alternate storyline world is also a place of karma cleansing because of why Ben said he couldn't come to the church with them. Ben will crossover once he has purified his soul.

i thought it was good, and I'm glad that it's all over.

Yeah, kind of like purgatory. And if you notice then the Michael was not there at all. (he was probably looking for Waaaaallltttt!!)

Why was Sayid there if he had committed so many crimes? Heh

Also..How'd you know it was like 80 years after? Kate was there before Jack and she got on the plane.

Its like Hurley said. Sayid was a good guy. So many people in his life had told him that he was a bad guy, and as a result Sayid believed that. But deep down inside , he was a good guy.

And Ben was kind of stuck just behind the doors. But Hurley told him that they will see each other, so that kind of means that after Ben had redeemed himself , he would move on as well.

Ah ..gotcha! Someone did some extra thoughts to it ;)

So whos the guard for the island??? And also..how did Desmond die? Or we don't know.

We don't really know what happened to Desmond. I assume Sawyer and guys got off the island. And perhaps they died when they were old. But when they did die, they were taken to that place.

And who is guarding the Island? Don't know. Hurley probably found a replacement or perhaps it did not need guarding any more.
