Its a penalty from the latest google update, they can't distinguish between ai and human written content, so they penalize both and rank quora and reddit instead
So what can I do?

Check your site:yoursite. com on Google and let me know if your posts are still indexed.

Check Google Search Console for any notifications.

Let me know this 2 ^^ so we have some info to start with.

Latest Google Update might have punished you because Your site might be similar to some other in your niche. This might be the case.

Yes, I have 1820 articles indexed with the command site so it’s all ok. Now news

I did check your provided screenshot and as it is not from Google search console so kindly first check Google search console and see if there is same downfall there as well. I mean, you first need to check from which source/medium the traffic is down.
If you find organic traffic is down in such a sharp way then check further in Google search console "pages" section and see which pages see the most drop in organic clicks and impressions, and then inspect those pages if there is any technical issues appeared on them. If everything is fine and still rankings are seriously dropped then it could be because of algorithmic changes. So you can work accordingly.

So, you got a 'penalty' where Google basically said, you can do it better.

As it's still too early to talk about what works and what does not, I have also one site similar to yours that got the same penalty, or whatever we wanna call that one, it's just my belief that Google wants to see us doing a much better job on those sites, in terms of everything, from content to everything related to SEO.

Better quality content, better on page SEO, better SEO in general, you have almost 2k articles, so that's gonna be a problem to go through all of them and fix 1 one by 1, when I say fix I mean changing some texts, adding few images here and there, updating, etc.

OP, in addition to above advice, when nothing have worked; I suggest taking it offline for two weeks to one month if it's only informational content that's dependent on Google Search. This would make Google to reevaluate your site and remove the filter after one month of being offline.

Did you check Google Search Console to see how your average ranking changed over the last weeks? If you registered your website with GSC, of course.

Went through the exact same for 300 pages that have been ranking top 3 positions for the last 10 years, all of them completely disappeared.. Still indexed but can not find it on any page.

We are currently changing all the content to make it "helpful" or whatever Google thinks helpful is and some pages have started to come back so basically Google has probably labelled all your pages as spam/not helpful etc.

If anyone found a better fix please let us all know :)

I have a feeling that google just takes the content from well established high ranking sites, pastes the content into their ai and then penalize the original source

like in the good old yt days, copy and upload a video then report the original :)

otherwise I can not explain how authority sites with 10+ years of authority in a given niche get outranked by one line comments from long abandoned forums

I think the last update has had a very bad effect on your site on Google. You can human write all website content and change the content structure:)

You wrote about indexing and traffic, but what about search queries?

our clients have a similar situation, but there is an obvious situation in the pessimization of queries and impressions in organic search.

they attribute the situation to Google's update and its relationship to the content they generate with a neural network

I agree with your point of view

dont update hit you as you shall upload content every week or every day if your site is performing good then sure atleast upload one quality content each day to keep good traffic flow .

Yes, not adding new content to your website for several months can contribute to a decrease in visitors.

I have been facing same problem. What is the solution for the problem?
