Ok, so I have this site that has been ranking pretty well for many months, doing some 2.3K unique visitors a day in average. What I started doing lately, is build new links from my PBN. My personal PBN, nothing bought from others.
So, from Oct 31 to Nov 10, I built 13 links to the homepage and 3 money pages of the site. I have noted everything in a spreadsheet. The dates, the links, all. This is faster than I ever did links to this site, but still, it comes down to a little over 1 link per day.
So, I don't know if as a result of this, my site has been out of the serps for the past 2 hours. It's not deindexed, and no manual action taken in the GWT (yet).
What I find is that, when looking for my terms, there's always a non-related page of my site to be found in pages 7-8 of Google. Looks like an algorithmic penalty, but what might have triggered it?
