So I bought tons of original handwritten articles and invested in several proxies and accounts. This could have easily been my 5000$/month game plan when scaled up more. I was waiting to get paid on Yahoo contributor with over 80 articles up and then I see this message today.

As part of our ongoing effort to sharpen our focus, on July 31, 2014, Voices.Yahoo.com will be shut down; on August 15, we will make the final Performance Payment before Contributor.Yahoo.com closes.

Thankfully I don't have all eggs in one basket or it would have been a big blow. My learning and advice to everyone from this is that you got to be careful while scaling on commonly known methods.

I lost my fu?king money 100 times. But NOT MY DREAM.

if you lost your dream it was not your dream, it was desire for money.

Dream is something that does not fade, can't be broken, and must be made.

I think you are some 15y/o who wants to make easy money.

If you'll work what others do in same manner then such things won't work last forever. Make your own unique services or product and develope like what @john1444 said.

Thats the reason that i do many things regarding IM,I diversify my Income,as warren buffet always say!

So what now? You're just going to give up? Move your energy to something new and diversify. The more time you wine about set-backs, the less time you have to get shit done.

Don't say like that, mate. Everyone has their own point of view.

and i thought trying to make big money from g00gle was a bad idea..

If I'm correct, you didn't actually loose any money. Yahoo will return all the articles AND the rights to them to you, so you can publish that content anywhere else again. If your articles are not in random topics, you can make quite a good blog of it? I'm sure there are many members who can suggest how to use them :) . At worst, you can sell them in batches?

Threads like this always make me laugh. People have one failure and say they're going to give up then everyone jumps on their thread telling them not to.

I've been failing for 10 years and everyone tells me to quit. Pick yourself back up and start again. Don't lose the dream.

Actually you didn't lose anything. Use those resources for another project.

Well hold your guns. All I said was.... I lost a dream not THE dream. I'm just sharing my experience... and didn't you guys read the part where I said thankfully I don't have all my eggs in one basket?

I just wanted to tell other newbies to not scale up rampantly. That's all. Out here, you can't even share a negative experience or advice without being run down by over inflating egos. Chill out.

sucks to hear that op, as someone said above hopefully you can make use of those articles still, maybe sell on fiverr

I bet a lot of people lost some investment when Yahoo Contributor Network closed it's door forever. If the articles are related to a single niche, then maybe you can create a MNS with them. :) And never give up on your dream, A man is nothing without his dreams. ;)
