Sorry for your loss. I'm not from India, but "lost" $3K USD + expenses (which I was told by my mentor were absolutely essential - but they aren't, in fact they are pretty much useless) when I paid for what was suppossed to be a comprehensive course in IM from someone I USED TO respect. Now I'm very dilligent, but I was badly taught. Got internet connection in August 2009 which is when I began the course. Still I learnt from my big mistake.

I had to sell some things (no big deal, just stuff but kids picking up on the stress ya know). Now I found BHW :detectiveand have just added a whole shitload to my hard drive and my brain. Will definately be donating as soon as I'm out of the $$tress.

Arrived here...maybe four days ago? I'm a little disorientated from my time on here and couldn't stop reading. Now excited about my future in IM again. Search function works wonders. Use it well.

Best two tips:
1) Don't quit
2) Apply what you learn

Try to be positive in your life man, it will help you..

Every methods here works. So is a dumb question asking which one is the best (every day I see this dumb question being posted)

The ONLY thing is - is it suitable or comfortable for you? So choose the one you feel you can work on it and That's it. Full-stop and stop asking which one work for others again. Keep in mind, what works for others may not work or suitable for you. You know yourself better.

all the tools are here for you. This is the best baww thread ive seen in awhile though. Start with small black hat investments like pvas maybe 1k on a autoposter. Learn read learn read then commit and focus and put in many hours.

Hopefully this next year will be better for you.

I can relate to you..

I have been duped by few companies as well (not online, but offline). As of now, I am under $12,000 worth of debt, but I make decent money to keep my creditors at bay.
More importantly, I keep trying new things, and I know for sure that I am only one idea short of financial success so are you! This attitude actually keeps me motivated..

Well at least you're honest. You're admitting that you don't make any money and that you are in debt. It takes a lot of courage to say these things in the open

I bet more then 50% of this forum isn't making any money while claiming they earn hundreds of dollars a day/week/month to trick desperate people to buy their products. No offense to anyone in particular.

The secret is trial and error. Find out what works for you and what not.

Never give up! Did Bill Gates get rich in 1 day? The answer is obviously 'No'. It takes a lot of time and effort to get where you want to be. Stick to your motivation. Stick to your plan. Adjust your plan when needed.

Loss only exist if you did not learn from the experience. Some experiences come cheap and for some you have to pay a high price for them. Learn from your mistakes so you can avoid them in the future.

I hope 2010 will be a better year for you!

This is a sure shot method to START earning online... I'm from India too and I'm using this... I wouldn't earn a lot but, it's a start... And really if you actually manage to lose money with this, then maybe IM isn't your thing...

Remember.. if you have $6.5k to lose in scams especially PTC... you'd have $100-$150 to outsource this shit on a big scale..

You can't make money without loosing some of it. I have lost more than you but I have also learned a lot more than I have lost! So now I'm earning like crazy thanks to some of the experience I got from dealing with shady business owners or investing in wrong places.

oh and I think the shaadi method would be effective with certain offers from clixgalore and aff curry... Can't think of many examples.. but i'm sure you could easily get creative with that..

There is one thing to accept and learn from it - the lost was your responsibilty and nothing else. Think about what you did wrong and learn from it. This is the only hint you really need.

Start reading more and pick one thing that you like, make a plan and put it into action, tha same thing happened me, tho I didn't loose that much, only $595, but anyway, I found one or two things that I liked, made a plan and put it into action, I have now started to see my earninggs go up a little, but i am far from big $$ yet.

Don't give up. That is the key. So you lost $6500. That is in the past now. There is nothing you can do about that. What you can do is learn from your experiences and be smarter with your money and your purchase decisions. There are hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of courses on here detailing 100s of different business models. What you have to do is see which one you will truly enjoy and then follow that path. One business leads to several other types of businesses and money streams in time.

Several of the ebooks give detail on very honest businesses.

Some good businesses you can from India in my opinion:

1. Import/Export - this includes e-commerce, selling on auction sites, brokering, B2B, etc
2. Offer Web services. Includes SEO, article writing, web design and graphic design, coding, email customer service, social media and video marketing services.
3. Affiliate Marketing. Includes having a blog and using social media and video to get a following and an opt-in list and in turn sales. Affiliate Marketing can be done for very cheap if you know how to and their are tons of books on this. Using classifieds and forums also helps.
4. Start a blog that is informative, grow a business out of it
5. Start an internet marketing business - this can include ppc, niche marketing in different niches, affiliate marketing using clickbank, coaching others (such as offline businesses on how to use the web to grow their business), selling books on forums like digitalpoint and warriorforum.

These are 5 different great business ideas that all take a lot of effort and which ever way you choose, you have to treat it like a real business. If you want to do business online you have to learn the ropes and you have to work on it each and every day. I would say do what you enjoy. Have goals and reach them by using time management and organization skills.

Don't let information overload kill you.

There are several illegal business models too like selling replicas, selling marketing products illegally, illegal dvds, cds and software, and of course all of the blackhat stuff. I don't necessarily support all this but I understand how tough it can be to get started and make money.

You gained $6500 dollars of mistakes you won't do anymore and knowledge. Every dollar you lost taught you how not to make money. Change your ways like everyone else said and invest more time than money.
