Will it even work if I now file complaint with credit card provider? been like 10 days since payment.

Depends what country you are in what consumer laws you have in place...if UK you should have no issue with speaking to your card provider...exact same issue with cuntpal a couple of years ago when a seller sent me a fucking rock instead of an iPhone, seller provided proof of postage and that was all it took for PayPal to side with them. So contacted my cc company (Barclaycard) and money was reaccredited to my card.

What do you think PayPal can do in this case? They can't know if the function of the bot is really working or not. You can't expect them to be experts in it.

There are too many factors to really judge PayPal negatively in this case.

But for the reason you are here: How can we know? We are not experts in your credit cards policies. Call your credit card company.

If you really care about $2,500, would you really just take our advice if we tell you to just let it go?

Call them. They are experts. Not us.

Well PP usually decides in favor of buyers and seller sent 1 sentence that he thinks i jumped the gun. While i actually explained the situation with screenshots that prove that he lied.

Well, I never filed a chargeback before so no idea how any of them operate. I would expect that PP will get a msg that i filed chargeback and let them know that i've lost a claim with them.

luckily I used personal cc so that should increase my chances.

PayPal didn't want to help me so I went to my bank for around $630. My bank gave me my money back but then PayPal banned me forever.

If you are in the UK you are covered outside PP.

Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act allows you to make a claim against your credit card company to get your money back
The price of the goods or services that you wish to claim for must have been between £100 and £30,000
Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, but you could use chargeback instead.

If the seller is also UK, then Small Claims Court is another option.

could you share which reason you used on PP? (to open the claim)
also, before going to your bank, try to contact paypal and tell them you are going to open a chargeback via your bank
they could be pushed to solve the issue in your favor

otherwise, go to your bank. Depending on your bank, it will take 2-4 weeks.
I will advise to open it as "fraud" (if the bank does not ask you to get back your card) because banks do not care about the reason and PP will directly refund it. If you use a reason like "product not as described" etc., they might decline the case.

    good luck!
