Lost $15,000 In 24 Hours, Anyone Same?

Aug 16, 2011 (Tuesday) I added the "Tag Cloud" widget and the "Popular Searches" widget (Search Terms 2 Plugin) to my site, and I went from all my keywords being on the first page top 5 positions to no where on google, not even top 1000.

My site still exists in google when I put the url in, so it has not been deindexed. Everything I have done on the site has been white hat with unique content. Normally I could care less, but I lost $15,000 income in 24 hours from losing this site of mine.

I removed both widgets and deactivated the Search Terms 2 Plugin 2 days ago, and I have yet to see my rankings come back.

Anyone else have a similar experience? Anyone randomly lose their rankings within the past week? Do you know why?

Please share, so that we can all figure out what is with the new google update that was done within the past 7 days.

Backlink that site as good as you can!

Make a pyramid system and blast the hell out of them with scrapebox
Pay someone to build you HIGH pr backlinks (from 5 - 9)
Get some .edu and .gov backlinks

Start working and get that 15k back, it's not going to fix it without your hand pushing some buttons ;)
 
You became $15k a day? $5m+ a year?! And here I am trying to make $50 a day lol.

I hope it works out though, sorry to hear about this buddy!

bobbylove321, you might want to ask in Google Webmaster forums about your site. This is mostly a site to get our site to where yours was!

I have built 60,000+ backlinks to it from many different ways.

There is no point to built backlinks.

It is a google update that is targeting something, and I am trying to figure out what it is because it has to be on page seo related.
 
With that money you can just buy people's sites and have them pointing to your site... your rich bitch ;)
 
It sounds like the tag threw you into a dance. Keep things up as usual and you should bounce right back where it was.

I did not say I make $15,000 per day from this site of mine.

I said I lost $15,000 income in 24 hours because of this google update and my site losing its ranking.

Building a brand new site and having it earn $15,000 in 3 months is a lot of work (especially when you want to flip it), and then having it lose its ranking is just not good.
 
Look in your webmaster account for any bad pages. We found a bad page which caused Google's spiders to go in a loop. I think they could be looking at duplicate pages also. If you have a lot of the geo pages for example that are not varied enough this might be a cause. One of my sites got hit really hard on Thursday, and it was completely whitehat SEO. Non of the other sites I own or work on got hit.

When I go to webmaster tools, I see that there are 15 pages not found. These are from Aug 6, 10, and 19. They are 404 errors. 10 pages result from 1 link being messed up which has been removed a few days ago.

How do you remove these notifications, and tell google that the page is fixed?
 
The only solution in such a case is definitely some authority backlinks. I have a couple of authority PR 4-5 sites so I could give you a hand until you're back again (for FREE)

Same thing happened to me. The reason behind it is because the plugin will add many of the same terms/searches.

Once you reach like 15-20 similar terms right next to each other on your website, you will get sandboxed for "keyword spamming"

I disabled the plugin, made a reconsideration request, and I was back up. Good luck!

How long did it take you from disabling the plugin to getting your rankings back?
 
im starting less and less to do seo because of this. Google is a bitch right now :/ but the only way to rank high in google is build authority. Brand yo shit

Its working for my sites and im getting good ass ranks

It took me about 2 weeks after submitting the reconsideration request, and then I got a msg in webmasters saying something like your request has been processed or something of that nature if I recall correctly.
 
Similar thing happend to one of my sites in the end of july. The site used seo search terms with the 2 or 3 plugins and about 10 keywords below the article.

Had about 600-1000 uniques a day, around 30-50 articles with good content. It not only lost its rankings, it got completely deindexed and no answer for the reconsideration, yet.
 
I use the popular search terms as well as the recent search terms widgets onto my sites, I also limit search terms tagging down to around 6-9 terms.

Haven't seen any drop, just been going up.
