Lost $1,000 in 30 mins. FML.

Lol, whatever happened to your $13,012 in 30 days AdSense income?

Was this thread of yours fake?

Jerks will be jerks. Stop fucking wasting your time as well as mine. Do something useful with your life rather than trying to bash my thread/reputation.

I work with a private CPA and make good money with them, besides the payments are weekly. The adsense payment is for my other sites.

That's a lot of risk. I usually don't let my losing trades exceed 2-3%
I've made high risk investments and they usually go great, and then bite back hard at some point. Trading smaller percentages and letting those percentages compound everyday is the way to go.
You also have to keep grip on your mind and make calm and firm decisions.. the psychology is so much of it.
With enough practice its not hard to make pretty sturdy cash. It's been doing okay for me ;)

Noted. Good Luck. Happy Trading.

Bro. I lost $10,000 at the beginning of last year in one of my penny stocks... Busted my ass in IM extra hard to even that out and then some. You wont be tripping on the money in a few months. Losing the money probably benefited me in the long run now that I think about it. But for the first few days I was kicking my self in the ass "why didnt I sell high, why didnt I sell high"... Got Greedy. Lesson Learned. Work Hard. Stack Money. Never Fails.

Never ever invest in Penny Stocks. Diversification is the key.

your best bet is options trading get a 700-1500% return on your investment sometimes alot more... and best thing is you can start with a small investment of say $25-100 and simply re invest a % of your profits each time so you stand to gain only ...

but as with any investment there is a 50/50 risk of loosing aswell as gaining...but it not as bad when it's $25-100 as opposed to 10-25k minimum

Sagar,

Never trade on emotion. There are tons of books out there and
they all state NEVER trade on emotion. You need to have a system in
place with indicators that work for you and you only trade with certain criteria
is met. I know its hard when you are on the downside and really the hardest
part of trading is the emotional aspect. One OP said buy low and sell high.. That is a safe way to trade. Were is the high point? Resistance and the low is support.. If you know how to read charts then you will know what all this means. Options is another option as you are only risking the amount you buy the option for. When you are in a contract trade basically trading on margin because commodities are traded on margin you really need to make sure you have a nice amount of extra money in your acct because its easy to deplete your cash quickly. Trading on margin can make you some real good money but it has a lot higher level of risk. Interactive Brokers has
I believe a 5X leverage meaning if you deposit a min of $100,000 they will let you leverage $500,000 to buy stocks however if the stock does not go in your favor you will be closed out very quickly but if the stock does go in your favor then your talking 5 times the reward minus the interest rate IB charges for loaning you the money.

dry2k,

How the find a high resistance point and a low support area. I really can't
explain in a post because there is to much to explain. I can tell you this there is long term
resistance and support and there is short term resistance and support. If you look at
the past year of a particular commodity and lay the chart out you get a better picture of
things and is it possible for example gold to go higher then the resistance level? absolutely
and knowing that is a possibility is knowing what is causing it to crack through. Commodities
are weighed strongly on fundamentals.

damn i love the stock market, anyone know any good forums to learn how to trade for noobs? How about recommended books?

Its too dangerous, better to do something else.

xdream,

If you don't understand how to read charts I would read
the Candle Stick Course by Steve Nison. He breaks down in a easy
to read book and explains how to read candlesticks and what different candlestick formations mean. He also goes into support and resistance
and rising windows and falling windows and what they mean. Very good
book in my opinion and from there you can move onto the advance books on
how to identify patterns. This is all technical analysis.. Then you have the
fundamentals for stocks being income reports, new product lines ect. Commodities if its for example Wheat then you would like to know about who
the major growers are around the world how much do they export ect
Money Management is another thing you should read about.. Money Management is extremely important.

Good to hear. Diversification is key. I had 2500% gains in 2009. And killed myself in 1 play in 2010. I owned 1.5% of a US airline and it crashed, killed me. But you have to get back on the horse.

Did the plane crash or the stock crash? You didn't say :) Though if you where in the plane when it crashed I doubt there would be much of you left to put back on the horse.

Anyway, use to work as a wholesale trader doing the trades for small brokers licenced under us. Trades typically between $1 and $5 million. Saw my boss lose 20k because of a wrong character in an options order. When you are dealing with figures on that scale and are managing the orders (you do it in chunks as the market moves in your favour), mistakes happen. Never saw a mistake cost less than 5k. This happens in the blink of an eye ... not 30 minutes.

i really want to get into the stock market. Its been my dream. I know its risky and dangerous but its just something i have to get good at in life inorder to feel complete.

I wish I lived on the East Coast, trading on the West sucks. 6:30 AM, I make that time everyday but Monday. I trade stocks with a 5:1 margin. Same gains as options mathematically, but you are somewhat safer. Strong psychic skills and intuition are all I use. Unfortunately I'm not trading that much now, because I have to deal with a bunch of bs.

Often I'm extremely lazy and only trade for 30 minutes or less and get my 10%. The goal to get 10% a day, in the least amount of time possible and never to loose, ever. My harnessing my emotions, learning when to cut out, helps. I can only trade if I'm into it.

I like scalping the best, since I can use telepathy to literally force stocks to go to a certain point, or is that just psychic skills, I'm never really sure. I can do stuff like predict the precise market move a day in advance, I see it in my head, the graph. Pretty trippy stuff. Yah but handling the emotional state is #1. You only loose if you can't handle your emotions or don't understand the limits.

Like I trade on margin and the trades are $10 a pop. So if you make 10 day trades that costs you 10 x 20 = $200 so if you are going to trade each of those, better make more then $20 each trade, lol. I'm working on never having a bad day personally. Focusing on my emotional state, allows me to stop trading when I'm done and to only take gains. No luck is involved in the market for me, strictly emotional stability and using psychic intuition.
