Hello to all,

I have a site thas was doing very well and kept going better every day for the past 1 month. (URL is 4-months old)

It was a new domain that after 3 months with slow link building and blog posting, i got #2 and #3 for a keyword at the same time.
That means for a keyword, i got 2nd and 3rd place at the same time (one for the main site and one for an inside page).
G**gle kept one day showing one link of my site, and other day 2 pages (all for one keyword).

I have other keywords that i rank good (first page of google) but they didnt change.

Last few days I am losing rank fast for my main keyword , 1-2 places a day, I am now 7-8 or 9 place and I dont know why.
Page rank seems the same = 3, I dont know if I got blacklisted....

any ideas.
What should i do / check?

Check your on-page seo score. Google is desperately trying to change their algorithms to display only relevant/unique content sites in their top search results.

seo score is almost 100%.
and the competition is rubbish: (at least the first 9) no h1 tags, no keywords, just some blogs or old html without even descriptions or keywords density.

I am worried that i have over-done it with on-site seo, because for the same keyword I shouldnt rank in the top 10 with two pages of the same domain
(URL.xx and ://URL.xx/keyword.html)
or should I?
I dont know whats wrong.
Maybe That i havent updated content in some weeks?

Ok...its now time to analyze the top 3.

See what their load speed is, keyword content, and backlink strategy. Then send me a message when your done.

If you were using private blog networks that's most likely the reason you've been penalized.

After some research on how the google see's my site, I dont think I am penalized.
site: gives ok results, backlinks are indexed, no safe problems by google, page rank the same = 3,

The top 3 sites for the keyword in question, have more backlinks, but the pages that are ranked higher than my site are far as on-site seo are rubbish.
All three of them have as content 1 or maybe 2 times the keyword, no h1,h2, etc tags, metas are not optimized, images to text ratio about 90 to 10, missing alts, no typography (bold italics)...

I am losing my mind on this.
How can i check that g**gle have penalized me?
I checked

  1. [site:mysite.xx]
  2. Google Webmaster Tools
  3. Google PR
  4. ?mysite.xx? search
  5. google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=mysite.xx
  6. ?bad neighborhood? sites = none
  7. Copied a long phrase from my page and searched Google for the exact match ranked #1
what else?

Just chill out man. Do what you are doing. It could just be the dance. It happens all the time. If nothing changes for over 2 weeks, you can start looking into it more seriously. You have to give it at least two weeks.

Did you use some private PR posts recently. They might have got deindexed and your rank might have been appropriated accordingly.

Sounds like some of your competition is on to you and boosted their site with a strong seo push. Just do the simple business response...smile and push back with a stronger seo campaign, pay attention, adapt and overcome.

Could be a google thing but I doubt it.

Change up and strengthen your seo and boost your efforts to comp the shift accordingly, then see what happens.

It is a constant process and will not stay there once it is there forever, especially if someone out works you.

Hope that helps.

thnx for your answers.
I think i ll just sit back and watch google ranking for some days, building some more links with directories.
I dont think competition all together started to push their seo , since most of them are informational sites, forums, 1 blog and only 2-3 commercial....

thnx again

Nope, dont sit back and watch, you just do quality backlink for improving the site rank soon. if you can not do it by yourself just take help of good sites like backlinksindexer and you will recover it soon.

I would recommend adding some more high PR backlinks and few articles with unique content having keywords density of about1%-2%.

Google seems to be favoring old age domains now. Build trust with authority links and never stop adding content that sticks.

Just add unique content and build some natural High PR links. Wait a bit. Google could be dancing, or your competition just wanted to strengthen their campaign to rise above you. Either way, you need to give it a few days to see if it adjusts.

i feel the pain all too well ahaha. my main money site fell from 2 to 5 and it hurttttts

it could be a dance...give it some time...then you will know more...

add some twitter retweet services on fiverr and this can help a bunch...

Google is getting better at detecting unnatural link growth - focus on link diversity rather than just trying to get tons of a few types of backlinks only.

Google is also apparently starting to check for the 'thickness' of the keywords on sites to differentiate MNS from 'relevant' content sites. If you've got the equivalent of a couple of blades of grass sticking up in a desert (4-5 page minisite with only 2-3 associated keywords) Google may not think it ranks as high as a site that is more of a 'field of grass' (lots of associated or cross-referencing keywords and LSIs).

i think your website over on page optimized for some keywords, which get penalty after recent google panda updates.

It may have two reasons
1.Google Dance
2.Google Panda 3.3
So stop work for a week and observe the status of your keyword ranking.

If you have not done any major campaign recently,it is new algo update.Build more backlinks.
