Loosing Backlinks

In the first week or March I loose 1000 backlinks to my site. Any ideas what could be the reason or how can I check the reason of loosing those backlinks?

Where did you see that? GWMT/Ahrefs/OSE/Majestic/Raven/where?
What type of backlinks are those? ie Profile/Blog comments/Private networks?
Any warning message in Webmaster Tools?

chill, maybe you loose the bad links, more links doesn't mean better ranking

Indeed. Losing/Getting rid of bad backlinks is good for your site. Especially after Penguin emerged into Google algorithms.
