Sorry, i was just being brutally honest. Please read this if you need confirmation, http://www.hobo-web.co.uk/google-pr-update/ specifically the part where it says;

The most common reason for a drop in Toolbar Pagerank is simply your website is receiving less Pagerank via the links it has pointing to it from other sites. Pagerank can also go down as the result of a penalty. If you have been penalised there may be a notice in Google Webmaster Tools.

Just found this on search engine watch. I guess there are others who share my earlier suspicion. This would explain why my de-indexed site went up in PR. It didn't get de-indexed until about a month or so ago.

"We looked at hundreds of sites and 90 percent dropped," says Dave Naylor of Bronco. "We've not seen many gain PageRank in big leaps this time. We saw PR6s drop to PR1s, but not many PR1s rise to a PR6."
There is also a lot of speculation that this data is not that fresh, and that the data seems to be several months old. Since Google gets daily updates to their internal PageRank tool, it seems a bit mysterious that Google would push out stale data -- unless there is a reason for it.


"My gut feeling is that the PageRank is from when the Google PageRank system broke, so it's not new PageRank; it's second hand PageRank from September-ish," says Naylor.

2 PR6 of mine went... nowhere! still PR6 and the business continues without a scratch!! OH YEAH!

Give it to me baby... aha aha...
 
And god, now we are back to resorting to PR sales pitches again. God damn I thought that era was over. Was switching to DA & TF and now we are back to square one. On one hand I am happy cuz I can still create a TON of PR, but on the other hand PR competition from India won't go away. While I push PR with DA & TF they push only PR and it's hard to get that fact in to the brains of the noobs. They'll all be back resorting to PR alone. Sheesh...
 
I think it may be relatively old data as a site that had PR 0 I deindexed (and still is) almost 2 months ago and blocked with robots.txt now has PR 2. Anyone else seeing similar? Can a site get PR even if deindexed?

Yes it can. They're both based on different factors. Many times when analyzing domains I've come across such cases where the PR is high but the domain isn't indexed.
 
pay attention, many high pr domains did not change, but these did not have any link.
 
PR NA expired domain buyed, recovery from waybackmachine is PR2 now "475000 Linkdomain, 4500 Links.. lol :D
