According to my observation:-
May update good for Niche based sites, I mean if ur site is only about one niche for eg ( only health-related pills )
But in the month of Aug some updates happening and its affecting niche-based sites.
And blogging sites and all giving good traffic in this month that is Aug 2020.
Not sure what's happening with Google update

I too noticed some organic dropped in the month of AUG 2020
And in the month of May 2020 my site performed best as far as lead or traffic is concerned
