Looking to start a Poker site !!

Hi, there i want to start a poker site but not for cash games ... it will be more like with play money and for exercise ..... and a few tourniers per week with playmoney ... When the month is over may be i will give some price for the people who are in top 100 ...

So my question is can you give me some advice which client, how much will be coast that ?? May be is there some network like Ipoker but for just play money poker ... not for real cash ...

And what to do you mean by 'client'? Like the software that runs on your servers that people play with? Didn't have to google too much to find quite many of those. Go find out about the pricing, research mate, research.
 
That s why i post that question .... becouse the price and everything what i see it s may be not real so i want to ask you what are you think how much money do i will need for something like that and which softwere is a good one (yes client i mean softwere for the webpage)

Have you done any research whatsoever?

For example:

1. Security - how are you going to stop clever people like Elliot305 from claiming the 'Top 100' prizes every month?
2. Offering prizes could still require a gaming license, depending on your country - have you researched the costs involved?
3. How are you going to fund the prizes?
4. Are you going to develop your own Poker software, or go down the licensing route?
5. Have you even looked into whether there is a white label poker system available?
6. Do you think just offering a free-to-play Poker game is enough to attract and retain visitors?

Contact a programmer and let him make custom software for you to your poker room eith play money.
So, how you think this can be profitable for you? How monetize this site?
 
If that's your first project, i believe you went to the wrong direction...
How are you planning to monetize? how much do you have available for investing in this project?
 
This is a huge project, I don't think you know what you're getting into.
 
If this is your first project, stop right here. It will be a super complex and expensive project. You can't just create a poker site and expect to make money. Start with something small and go up from there.
 
If you don't have enough money, you should stop right now, this is huge project that will cost a lot of money and time.
 
Who is Elliot305 ? a Bot ?
1st - just when somebody earned the price he have to verfity his account like they do that by other bookis or poker rooms and that price can be winned only 1 time after some time they will be able to play again for some price
2st- No i do not have i told becouse i make it with play money there is no need to hava a license ... is there enyway to make that without a license (if i open the site from a country where that is no need it ... off shore hosting may be .. ??) may be to offer the price to diffrent way or may be not a money price .... may be a something like ipad iphone ...
3st- I'm thinging whne they install the softwere, near to the buttons to come some ads
4.Which is cheeper and better ?
5. i'm looking right now for that system
6. no i do not think i can attrackt the people with free play only that's why i'm thnking about the prices ...

One question what is your budget? Or rather how much money you have right now without which you will survive if it all fails?
Not making it seem impossible, but that's how one thinks in IM before starting a project.
