Hi everyone. I'm a noob at making money online. I started last year around the summer-ish time. So far I have had the most success with writing and self-publishing ebooks and doing some freelance work. This year I want to continue to write because not only do I make some money from it, I also find it fun and relaxing. I also want to work on and build up my design portfolio. I want to try some different methods out too. Last year I started a few blogs and I am learning how to make money with those.

My goal for 2013 is to make a total of $3000. Why $3000? I am planning a nice getaway trip in 2014 and it would be great to be able to finance it with my internet money.

Last month ended with +$15.82 in my bank account. Let's hope January is even better!

Good Luck and its achievable! Get in to the Action !

You're already making money so scale up and enjoy the trip dude :)

After seeing the neat and tidy way that you wrote and laid out the OP!

Leaves me with no doubt you will reach your target and more I hope...

Good Luck

$3000 per year? Should try double of it. Shall Pray that May this year should not end with any Google Pandas or Penguins...

If you are doing freelance work then better to become part time article writer. Writing 2 articles per day can easily bring your target, with lot of time for other things.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

-Added 2 new fiverr gigs.
-Finished another ebook. I'm just waiting for it to upload to Amazon and B&N now.
-Did some work on my blogs.

My main focus is writing and self-publishing ebooks because I have had some nice success in just the few months I've been doing this. So far I have made 2 cents from PPC on one of my blogs. I have also had some click throughs on some amazon associates ads but no conversions yet. I have not had any luck with amazon click through conversions since I started this but I'm not giving up just yet.

Finally something realistic (or perhaps even on the pessimistic side). It's funny to read the journey threads where complete newbies who have no clue of anything and come across as they had just discovered Internet yesterday set goals of making $200,000 in their first year in IM etc.

Good luck on your journey and I'm sure you'll achieve your goal!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I had some real life stuff to take care of put I have more time to focus on IM now. I will try to update at least weekly from now on.

Last month I made a profit of $35.31. I made the most money through selling ebooks. I would have made about $70 but I spent some money on some of my projects. Some more good news, I got approved for adsense a few days ago and placed a few ads on my sites. I was using adbrite before and saw a little success with that (more than with amazon's affiliate program) so I'm going to focus on adsense now. I also plan to write more ebooks. I would like to put out a new ebook every one or two weeks. I also want to expand my writing into other genres.

For this month, I'm estimating that I've earned $4 so far. I hope to get a new ebook published tonight or tomorrow.
