Hey everyone,

I’m currently running Facebook ads and want to optimize our demand-side setup (DS) so we’re getting more accurate tracking and better cost efficiency per registered lead.

Right now, our goal is to have everything — Facebook Pixel, event tracking, and conversion API — configured properly so that Facebook’s algorithm can optimize towards high-quality leads, ideally getting our cost per registered lead down to around €50–€90.

I’m looking for:
  • Someone experienced with Facebook Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, and CAPI setup
  • Help verifying that events and conversions are firing correctly (through Meta’s Events Manager and test tools)
  • Guidance on optimizing campaign structure (objectives, bid strategy, and conversion events) to hit our target CPL range
If you’ve worked on similar campaigns or know the best practices for this type of setup, I’d love to hear your insights or connect directly.

Thanks in advance!

The Goal is to make sure facebook charges us Cost per registered Lead instead of cost per link click or maximise landing page views.

Make sure Pixel and CAPI events are properly deduplicated and verified in Events Manager. Use the “Leads” or “Purchase” objective with value-based optimization to refine quality. Clean data and consistent event tracking are key to hitting your target CPL.

The Problem is its a cloaked website ki-fortune.online and im not sure it will work as facebook will not be able to track the cloaked websites converion.

I used to set up this way for lead form EU market, CAPI and Pixel are synchronized properly, the data is very stable, the cost is always on target. It's important to test the event again with Meta tool before scaling, sometimes a little deviation can lead to wrong optimization

I understand your feelings because I used to spend a lot of budget just because Pixel and CAPI data did not match. When everything was not tracked properly, Facebook's algorithm optimized the wrong file, causing CPL to increase but lead quality to decrease.

Double-check for duplicate events between Pixel and CAPI. Use Test Events to be sure. Try lowest cost with bid cap, and tighten your targeting.

Make sure your lead form or funnel isn’t leaking quality tech setup helps, but bad UX kills CPL fast.
