I know I just made a thread looking for a designer, but this is a different project. This is a medium sized project and not just a simple php fix. I'm looking to start some type of posting site. I'm going to throw out an example, but don't go crazy. I don't think my site is going to be this big, and I'm taking it a completely different direction than you would expect...
I'm looking to have a site developed almost like pinterest. A site where people can post and others can like it. I know nothing about pinterest and I am a guy so that might have been an aweful example. Yes, I've actually looked into the pinterest tutorial they have online and it's quite good, but I don't know enough about coding to really tweak it to my liking.
If this is something that you think you could do, let me know. I should be able to describe it better to someone who knows how to code. From what I've heard and seen around, PHP seems to be the goto language for this, but I could be wrong.
