Looking to buy a site on Flippa, how do avoid getting scammed

Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy a site on flippa 3 months-1 year old. Looking for a site where it has been taking off the ground but still needs work. I'm looking for something where I can built into a high ranking site. Anyways how do I avoid scammers because god knows I have been scammed on doing IM more than enough. lol

I wouldn't buy anything that claims revenue, but something with no revenue that you see you want work with. Like an unlaunched software product for example. As for revenue-generating investments, check the inventory here: http://feinternational.com/buy-a-website/

you can't

there is just way too much junk on that site. Sure sometimes you'll see a golden nugget here or there, but unless you are planning to spend $100K+ I'd look elsewhere. Just way too many junk on there below that.

Classic case of having to sift through a vast amount of junk inventory. Unless you have some real inside knowledge on something, it's going to be tough to find that diamond in the rough.
