Looking to build a new website. It would be a b2b type of website similar to http://www.dhgate.com. I need an ecommerce platform that will allow users to be able to build their own webstore within the website. I also want them to be able to sell items in bulk like on dhgate. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi!

What you need is a multi vendor marketplace platform, and this is the way to go (IMHO):

    www magentocommerce com/magento-connect/marketplace.html

This might not be fancy but wordpress was always good enough for a bootstrapped version to proof an idea.

Maybe you can try to use Wordpress and Install Woocommerce(Plugins).

There are many plugins support Woocommerce with variety function. You should try to research it. :)

Magento will be the one you should go for. It is very powerful and can do anything.

I think you should go for Magento - especially when it comes to scalability and performance its most likely the better choice for such a project.
