Looking to build a HUGE Email-list. NEED Help.

Recently I've decided to give list building a try since everything else I tried doing hasn't made me any money AT ALL. So I figured, why not give this a try. I already created my squeeze page which when people op-tin, they will recieve a free E-book. As my list gets bigger, I'll keep sending free E-books. Eventually once I get a list of 5000, I will send out offers so I can start recieving money. Now to build my list, should I stick to; Solo Adds or Ppv/Ppc. Give your opinion. Now for solo-adds I personally think they take a while to be delivered to you and you won't always make your moneys worth or get the op-tins you've wanted. For ppv/ppc I have NO EXPERIENCE with these AT ALL. I've read a few things about it and I would like to learn a lot more or have someone who knows A LOT about them to help me out. Thank you.

- I have a goal of a list of 5K by Christmas Time.

- After that list of 20k by Next Summer.

So technically, from that 20k List, I want to try and make 5,000/Month by next summer

Same here, I just started creating materials for my list and I'll be completely focusing on that.

But more through niche forums, social media, blogs, rather than solo ads, that sh't can empty your wallet quickly if you don't who you're buying from and what you get for your money, except if you go for overpriced (but more credible) providers.

Good luck with this, 5k in ~4 months is definitely doable when you focus and consistently work on it..

Finally someone who agrees with me with solo adds. Everyone always say to use solo adds. Because they are very efficient but to build a list of 5,000 how much money do you have to spend to get that list? I'm assuming maybe around $4000..

I would rather prefer to extract emails, then set a huge email campaign to this targeted list, attach some interesting stuff with striking titles and hope that people shall convert into subscribers. Send for once do not try time and time again to the same email addresses. I have always been interested to try PPV... if I buy 50,000 "targeted" visitors for $100, I should get probably 100 opt-ins?

This whole Email-Marketing thing has started to stress me out, I honestly have no clue where to start. I want to have a great list in the IM niche, and I want to start Asap. Any suggestions?

This might sound simple but to build a list - just do or offer something awesome - something that your niche really want or like. Sounds simple enough but that's what I do.

PS Don't buy lists - Ive never found they work (but that's just IMHO)

For my list, my squeeze page is offering them a Free E-book on Internet Marketing. Once they op-tin and all, the download link for the E-book is there in the follow up Email. I got that all sorted out. Just don't know what to do next.

I have lists of 70 million e-mails including 9 million registered business emails, and 200K fresh emails related to Ivy League universities, etc... I also have a serial for atomic e-mail studio 9.0 which is professional list building and managing software... I would sell you the whole pack for $150.... Let me know if you are interested.

I know BHW users might not think much of it, but the WF actually has some top class info on email marketing.

The key to success with solo ads is 1) finding a reliable supplier who has a responsive/relevant list and delivers lots of clicks 2) a high converting opt-in page leading to 3) a high converting front-end and sales funnel which makes back the money you spend on solo ads. So you essentially build your list for free. Really powerful.

But it takes a hell of a lot of work to make a high converting sales funnel. You've got to make the products, write the copy, make the design, organize the funnel and all the technicals of it, payment shopping cart etc., upsells downsells. Can be overwhelming at times.
