I know we focus most if not all our time just on g00gle ranks. I was just wondering why there are alot of other search engines out there. Yeah g00gle is the giant and has all the push. Just wonder what would happen if we design a site and get it up to number 1 on a few of the smaller engines then tackle the big goo. The site should have a little weight in the serps to start. Just wondering if anyone eles has tried this.

Its a human nature to bit one and get success. A lot of investor wants Google to be down. So they have lunched their own search engines, thats all.

what's the point of putting 0's for o's in google?

I just think that maybe we should start thinking outside the box a little.

ya, makes you wonder if that works or not. you would think with the content already in place....

It is just a thought. We are really looking at just 1 search engine when there are many out there. Yeah they are not as big as g00gle BUT they do have ppl entering them. It seems like we just forgot that there is other out there. Just remember not all use g00gle

so they won't find this thread but thanks to you now they will, goodjob

lmfao!!! Google is a billion dollar company. Do you really think that you have out-foxed them? Especially by putting 0's instead of o's? People have been trying to manipulate serps since the beginning of serps. Google knows this. Sorry G00gle knows this. I wouldnt worry about typing it in a forum lol.

Basically there are a few want to make different, love to bit and undertake challenge. However, at this stage Google has reached so far and if any one keep yes back then it is not a matter of short span that google has crossed over.

However, there are some other like yahoo, bing, ask and many more they try to compete with it.

basically your idea is good enough and I may suggest you not to be disappointed if it took time and I hope during this days you will much less time then google to come at their stage; but during days where google will reach is the concern.

Bing is coming up. Microsoft will not stop until it gets the win. I personally would like a more level distribution of market share in search engines. It would be nice if there were 3 search engines all with around 30% share, with slightly different algorithms, so that a 'slap' from one wouldn't mean the end of your organic traffic. There is way too much dependence on G and it makes me feel uneasy.

youre right, they'll never find this thread by changing o's to 0's. there just a 2-bit operation that has no idea how to read or interpret text on the internet

seriously. take off your tin foil hat.

See i think bing is going to be a major player. They have the money to give g00gle a good run. Yeah it should be a level playing field that way the slap will not hurt as bad.

I think it is best to focus even beyond search engines. Make sure you have a presence on twitter, facebook, ppc (if it's worth it), etc.

you apparently do not understand rankings...

what ranks in google ranks in the other search engines.

in fact... there is evidence that other search engines copy google

you cannot just pluck your head in the sand...and rank for bing..

if you rank for just one search engine... you will only be placing a limit
on the potential of your site..

p.s. why would you hide this thread from google. There is nothing earth shattering
or TOP SECRET in this thread. Nothing in this thread is new to the google engineers.

If you ever have something you don't want google to see...
get it and bury it in your backyard....
will google find it... probably... it will just take a bit longer...

A single person with plan and design skills can not do this I guess, we need a hell of team and workers to do this.. like thousands or lakhs...
