I've been looking into starting my own site as another layer of earning potential from my nsfw subreddit but its looking kinda daunting for someone new to hosting and managing a site.
Would you recommend making my own site or finding other somewhat already established site to work with?

Honestly, starting your own site gives you full control and higher long term earning potential, but it’s definitely a learning curve if youre new. If you want something simpler and faster, partnering with an existing platform can get revenue sooner and save headaches.

You could also start with a hybrid approach launch a small personal site to test content and traffic, while simultaneously leveraging established platforms to generate early revenue and learn the ropes.

If youre new, consider focusing first on learning the basics with a minimal setup like a simple wordpress or hosted site so you can experiment safely.
