Looking for WP Plugin to auto create posts from a template

I'm looking for a wordpress plugin that can find and replace the keyword in the title, body, tags, and meta data, of a post template, then create a new post.

For example, let's say I have a large post titled "Hire Great Plumbers in Los Angeles" and throughout the post and in the tags and meta data I mention "Plumbers". I would like to generate a few hundred posts where I replace "Plumbers" with various other professions.

Does anyone know if any of the auto blog plugins can do this? I've been manually editing a text file but there has got to be an automated way to do this?

Will it work for you to push one button and the program builds the posts and puts them in an xml file and all you do is import... and you just tell it how often to post and what time to start... and it will dump then into the blog by import and if you sent 100 posts they would be scheduled as you set them.. like 15 min apart or 4 hours or etc... I build all this stuff just for fun... no charge... let me know if I can help... Two things i love and do for a hobby is programming and Adwords...

If you're trying to do this for a site that you are trying to rank, you will receive a duplicate penalty from Goog...

You need each and every page to have separate content to rank the site.
If that's not possible, you should create subdomains/different sites.

Also, you may be interested in a directory site, which you can in fact rank many categories/subcategories/pages....
Use less content for these, only tidbits of actual pertinent info for each...

...but do you?

You might be surprised what you can get away with. I thought that for a long time, but I'm convinced that the "duplicate content penalty" does not work like people think.

Look at the plugin from SoftWarp. It has more powerful applications than what you're talking about, but would be able to do what you're asking. BTW, it's free.

So I installed wp-importer and it looks like exactly what I need. However after I preview the posts and click create, it appears to hang. I opened a ticket at their help desk, do you know if they still support their products?
