    Hey all,

Looking for a simple Twitter Broadcasting tool.

I was using TwitterBird (free tool given away here) and it was perfect - I cant find anything free or paid that will perform the same simple action.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I just need a tool that will publish a prewritten script of scheduled tweets in a a random pattern.

Thats it - i dont care about anything else - just set and forget random scheduling.

I was offered one tool through here, but it required individual scheduling, which is way outside teh amount of time I give twitter.

    Any ideas, free or paid?

Why not create an RSS feed of the posts via yahoo pipes then feed with dlvr.it or similar service? You can drip the posts in without needing to schedule a thing.

hmm - sounds like it would be sufficient, I do use Yahoo pipes with wp.omatic to make some aff feeds from existing feeds, but not sure how I could create a feed from a text file?

Any suggestions, send me in the right direction to learn what you mean?

ok I peeked at dlvr.it - seems to be the same as twitterfeed , which i already use for publishing updated content.

but, I use twitter to send out aff links, random quotes to seem real, and EVERYTHING i have ver published - so thousands of posts form dozens if not hundreds of sites and web2.0 article sites.

I need the ability to write one simple text file and feed it continuously into twitter, xBird did this for free - figured some paid tool has to have the option!

the scheduling is only for the randomness - 3/4 posts an hour at a random variable

How do you store all of your tweets - text file, database or something else?

You could probably get a script written thats web based to do this - I used to have one doing the same thing from a database and some cron jiggery pokery to make it look more random.

My project was a much smaller scale, but I created an RSS feed using a windows desktop software (RSS Content Generator). From product website

"Easy RSS Content Generator has a built-in FTP client, an automatic word replacement dictionary that will allow you to increase the uniqueness of the created pages, and a built-in tool for prompting keywords. You can use it to quickly search for RSS feeds and add them. No special knowledge is required, it is easy and comfortable to use the program."

I was using a text file as that was what the xBird application required.

I can set up a database or new formats if that is what is needed.

@mainguy - Tweetattacks seems like a powerful tool, but it requires that scheduling is done at a tweet by tweet basis - that is more time expenditure than I am willing to perform for some simple twitter broadcasting.

Am I odd? Why is this so hard to find! How did I get spoiled by a free tool? I broadcast to twitter thats it ! I just want to say hey twitter tool publish this crap for me and make it look natural and walk away!

Thanks for the responses guys - I wouldnt be opposed to buying a custom script but Im not sure I know how to explain what I need or that this specific part of my marketing is worth very much.

Thanks for all the rss feed suggestions, BUT, i really have that covered.

Ill try and explain the scope a little better and maybe it will help some others with the same need.

Currently I have around 300 published Hubpages, 50 sites - varying from one page locals to 1000's of post autoblogs(kinda) and solid human written niche "supersites" - plus a few hundred more pages at other web 2.0 sites.

All of these sites already feed directly to twitter via twitterfeed and similar ilk - some even loop through various services and continue to publish indefinitely. I also use various yahoo pipes tweaks on the rss .

Between feedburner and twitterfeed, i get some limited tracking and then with maxpress ***** links I get some url tracking - so I can use twitter to test title variations and such and see hwo the sam epiece of content catches peoples eyes with different presentations.

All of the rss tweets are links and are a bit ugly, so to stay looking natural I had a script of various quotes and inaane shit that normal people tweet "going to the store to get foot powder" , Cant believe (favorite sports team) did that , boy, i love candy apples - and all sorts of other inane bullshit. I also run aff link feeds and coupon feeds and pretty much whatevr I can - since its so easy.

I got the feeds covered - I need the script to keep old content republishing and to be able to throw in varied hashtags etc and quotes

I may be confusing tweetattacks with twitzilla or some other twittweettwat tool - If tweet attacks can do what Im asking - then that was the purpose of this thread - "What software can do this?"

So does anyone know if tweet attacks performs this function?

I like your strategy Art. Socialoomph would do everything you need with a modest tweak. $30/mo turns on bulk uploads and queues (they even email you when que gets low). There UI is horrible, but the tools are exceptional.

For those too cheap, or working on a much smaller scale, here is part of my formula.

I have tied all my tweets into RSS so I can manage/spin/mix the content.

Free trick to delay and drip feed -- rssreplay . heroku dot com
I use dlvr.it for distribution here are some screenshots to show what advanced options allow. Additional filters not shown on the RSS side let you schedule, filter, shrink (bit.ly or Google Analytics), track, find/replace, and refresh what was once old. Scheduling can be set as random within an time frame, weekends only, etc.

Route from RSS to Twitter + + +

Edit destination = add hash tag

Where to place tags and how many to use

Autotagging, scheduling, set & forget options.
