This thread may be a little different than most of the novice threads asking "what to do", but ultimately it's the same, just in a much different and more information provided format.

So far what I have done is two websites, one is in a very niche topic and is almost completely untapped. I didn't find this one alone, my friend noticed it because he's in the line of work, and he let me take over. It has a community driven fan-page in which people donate for advertisements, and usually gets around $200-300 per month in Facebook advertisements. It's about three months old and has 15,000 legitimate niche likes. His website was making about $3-4 a day without posting it to the page very often. I've taken it over and revamped it, gave it a nice social system, commenting, sharing, liking photos, etc and we're about to go live with that. We also wrote a watermarking program for all of our images, which I'm going to tie into the share feature so whenever someone shares an image the watermark is on it.

The other one is the standard car niche website, while it may not go anywhere, i'm a car enthusiast and I have been all my life. I spend a lot of free time watching car reviews, races, etc. So this is just going to be something fun I'm trying to put together. Goals for this website currently stand at $5/day. Advertisement has not started as I'm currently trying to find someone to help me get a decent video introduction created. Fiverr is horrible for this considering I want a custom one and not a free template. :cow04:

So here's my question, I'm currently working really hard at my current job. I get about $6/hr in the USA (Driving w/ tip pay, but nobody down here tips) and a lot of in-store work. I'm not very physically inclined and this is really hard on my body. Once I get to the point where I can quit this job, I can focus all of my time into upscaling, but I have to get there first.

I DO have initial start-up funds, not a lot of them, but around $500.

So my question is, can you guys help me tailor (or locate) a method that fits my skill-set? I've already tried freelancing, fiverr, etc and I'm still trying after a year, but that's not really going anywhere. I've gotten one freelancer job in a year, 5-star rating, and a great review, but nobody wants to hire someone without a lot of reviews it seems.

Here's my skillset:

  • [*=1]Java Programming
[*=1]PHP Programming (Linear, I don't really like OOP PHP for some reason)
    [*=1]HTML / CSS
    [*=1]C# Programming
    [*=1]JavaScript.
    [*=1]Teaching.

For those curious I also make programming tutorials, but they only get me around $18/mo on YouTube, partnered with a 90/10 network. (400~500 views/day). I also use my own software and have a website for this software in my videos.

While I can make websites and create a ridiculously strong and complex back-end, I'm not artistic at all so I can't design them (but I can put designs together in html/css granted the art/images required are provided)

I've attempted writing articles on things such as iWriter, but it just seems like a major waste of time. I've seen two of my articles used on websites, but `declined` due to not being what the user was wanting.
I have some video intro templates (Royalty free, for commercial use, ofcourse) on Fiverr that get hits every now and then.

I'm just trying to get out of this hellhole job. Anything over $35 a day and I'll finally be gone. It doesn't matter if I have to put in work every day as long as it's not a bunch of physical labor. I'm willing to spend 14 hours/day getting my IM stuff running, for weeks on end as long as I get some progress in the long run. I'm dedicated. I just don't know which direction to go. Every project I have in mind is so large in scale it's like a kids dream.

Anything is recommended, but links to sections are not appreciated. I've been here for awhile, and I read topics almost every day. I always go through and read all the new journeys. Everyone says buying JrVIP is a bad idea, because the sections are dead. So if anyone, and I mean anyone, can help me out finding some money, You'll have my thanks.

Yes, I have actually made one and It's being polished up by an artist before production. I've enjoyed playing it as-well have a few of my close friends even while it was in prototype staging without graphics. Artists are not cheap however, so It's a very slow process. I hope to have it released in the next month or two.

Internet marketing is a business, that's to be certain. If it was as easy as an initial investment and waiting then everyone would be doing this instead of taking chances with the stock market. I understand that hard work and dedication is required to get anywhere with Internet Marketing, the same thing applies to life in general. The only difference is that the longer you wait, the less the chances of getting anywhere with IM are, this is because other people will have the same ideas as you. Every day you wait, another website in your niche is getting higher up there on the rankings, and gaining more popularity.
