Looking for some internal linking advice

Hi everyone, so what i am looking to achieve is i have around 8k videos on my adult tube site and now i want to add link of each video in another video's comment section with video title as anchor.

First i would like to know if it's effective or not? I did it with some blogs, like i added links of those in comment section of my already indexed videos and those blogs got indexed next day. It was with a few blogs so i am not sure if it will be beneficial for all other videos or not.

And i am using wordpress so is there any plugin i can use to achieve the same?

Why not try it with a number of videos and see the result, then scale it if it works as expected.
