Looking for small volume of extremely high quality links

I am interested in two types of site to acquire links from:

• Car-related sites on .co.uk domains
• Extremely high authority domains

The first is pretty self-explanatory.

As for the second, we often joke about getting links on Forbes.com, CNN.com and so on. Actually I really do want those links, so I'd be interested in talking to anyone who thinks they can deliver this.

Also, anyone know how to get my site listed on DMOZ at some point this century?
