i need a simple VPS provider that is cheap, has US IP address and simple to use.
I'm using dormatory internet and it somehow blocks proxy and vpn use, so i'm thinking about having VPS just for surfing and doing microworks as US member (more jobs available for US workers).

i don't need strong one, just enough to surf on the net.
It will be my first VPS use, so i prefer it as simple as possible.
i found some VPS providers under 10$/mo but dunno what i get.
Also it would be great if there is moneyback guarantee or free trial, since i can't be sure wheter my net also blocks VPS use or not.

Any advise regarding VPS features and/or alternative ways will be appreciated.

are you able to browse internet with your dormatory internet ? for example can you browse google ?
if yes, then you can use a private proxy on port 80

then buy azure unlinmited account, it is trial account for windows vps. for 1 account you can make 10 vps. it is the simplest if you just get started and for 1 account the price is $10 for a month.

Of course i can browse internet. i tried port 80 anonymous IPs, didn't work. i also used hotsp.t shield free, didn't turn ON, always OFF.

i checked, but didn't find any $10/mo unlimited account, just saw 1month free trial, planning to try it out. It is Windowsazure.com, right?

I checked Marketplace. but i'm not sure what features i should look for in my situation. i'm gonna used it like i have 2nd identity in US. Not for hosting, running softwares etc.
BTW i have few more questions:
any difference between these terms: VPS, remote desktop, virtual computer
which OS i should use? win, linux etc.
what is managed VPS?

thanks in advance...

Just get a cheap vps package, i'm currently using a windows VPS from these guys and so far I'm happy. The support is quick and get stuff done:

They also have a BST in the marketplace:

BTW I'm in no way affiliated to them, I just pass on my personal opinion.

i think it's better to take Dedicated USA private proxy will work as well ;)

Finally, i find a free vpn (not vps though) that works for me. I just found it simply by googling it. Connection speed sucks, but i don't really care. i didn't encounter any offline status so far. thank you for your time though...
