Just do your own research on godaddy auctions. You can find valuable domains there. DOMCOP is also pretty good for sorting them out, check out their BST thread.

I buy through godaddy at the moment it's just the time factor for me - I'd rather pay a bit more and have more free time

I had to create my own tools for this. Any provider who finds good domains will likely register themselves.

Good point. I know very little about the domain broker industry, but yes it would make sense for them to keep the nuggets of gold for themselves and sell the surplus. I'm surprised there aren't ANY brokers worth looking at though.
