Hey guys. I'm new to SEO, have an educational marketplace. I planned to create a lot of pages targeted on low-frequency informational keywords but i guess i can forget about that strategy, cause Google will send all informational requests to their new AI bot. Am i right the only keywords that will bring me traffic are commercial like "chat with..." or "order ..."?

Not exactly. Informational keywords can still bring traffic if your content is helpful, in-depth, and well-structured. Google AI may answer basic queries, but people still click for detailed guides, comparisons, or expert takes. Don’t skip info content—just make it better than AI blurbs.

Don’t give up on informational keywords just yet. Google’s AI answers might take some clicks, but there’s still traffic to be had, especially if your content is unique, helpful, and well-structured. Commercial keywords can convert better, but informational content builds trust and can still bring in long-tail traffic. A mix of both strategies usually works best.

No, not only commercial keywords are useful. Informational keywords can still bring traffic — just make sure your content is helpful and matches what people are searching for. Google’s AI doesn’t take all the traffic; people still visit real websites for answers.

not necessarily! informational keywords can still bring traffic, google’s AI doesn’t cover everything, and helpful content still ranks. I’d mix both info and commercial keywords.

This is true that a lot of your traffic from queries will be killed. I am not sure about your branding strategies but if people know about your brand. They will search it and click on it. You can create communities on Quora and share information there. You need to focus on things outside your website. Don't self promote, help your users there, gain trust and you can drive a lot of traffic from there as well.
Second, Not all informational results are answered by AI queries now. But what happens ahead, no one knows. Update your old content as per the latest information, stats. Try to add People also ask queries in your content.

Right now AI searches is the hype thing and GEO the new scam that the industry is pushing forward. Google is playing the game too, knowing well how broken LLMs are. But knowing Google it won't be long before it kills its AI Overview with just another update.

When you search something online, some queries come up with People Also Ask Questions. They are list of questions asked by people and Google directly answers them in browser instead of going to website.
