Dear BHWs,

I am looking for a hosting not too expensive but at least reliable. A monthly subscription would be great so that I can end it if I encounter any issue. I thought about using Hostwinds but after reading their thread in the Hosting section, it seems that there are some negative feedback from their own clients.

Which service do you recommend? I would prefer advice from clients, not from owners trying to sell their own services :p

I recommend host-stage.net

Depends wht you are looking for in the form of reliability. Is it uptime guarantees, or speed of loading that matters to you. Read up reviews on popular services. But generally, avoid hosts such as godaddy.

freehostia and godaddy is best !!!
Really ?

i'm using asmallorange for a few websites and the uptime is pretty good. Also have a few VPS machines from digital ocean (two of them, had a few hours of downtime last week)

If you are looking for VPS then check Knowhost. I have had a vps with them for more than 4 years and haven't had a single problem so far.

Hostgator? I've never had a problem for all the years I've been with them.

using hostgator for some of my sites and never had a problem

I recommended seowebhosting. We have been using this service for the past 3+ years, you can get the best deal there. And the support was always great.

1 for host-stage.net, used them for over year and zero downtime. Moved to cheaper hosting (servikus) and it has been great so far.

Can any one name or recommend free web hosting company as well . ? Like freescripthost etc ?

Im with hostwinds and honestly cant recommend them enough. Not a single problem and more importantly, i have the guys on skype so if i need to get in touch i get a very fast response

Don't use Godaddy for hosting, they are really bad. Only good for domain.
