Can anyone recommend a good web hosting BST that offers free SSL (Let's Encrypt or something)?

I use SiteGround and I get Let's Encrypt although I believe that's on the middle and top packages not the first.

cloudflare has free ssl feature.
For web hosting i'm using dreamhost.

I'm not going to recommend you any hosting providers (although I use interserver.net myself) ... shop around and pick any service you like.

I use siteground with let's encrypt BUT better go for digital ocean or stuff like that.

Siteground have best live chat i be ever seen in my life.

Your own VPS with Vesta CP (Let's Encrypt is integrated) - cheaper than shared hosting, faster and you can customise a lot more.

If I'm not mistaken Servikus does offer a free SSL and they have some pretty fast servers. They also have a BST here so you can check them out.

You can use cloudflare for the free SSL. Banahosting is so good, support rocks
