I am going to be looking for people who want to do what I do for work! Write recaps to your favorite tv shows! Now here is the best part! You get $8/episode you do for me!! So let me know through my email or here if you think that you can handle it and for every episode you do, you get $8!! You will be writing about 1200-1500 words for 60 min shows and 900-1000 words for 30 minute shows. The great thing is that all the research is on the tv show that you watch. Watch and write, that is it. Let me know guys.

    Requirements:

Have to speak almost perfect English. I don't want some guy from a non-English speaking country to tell me that his grammar is good and I have to edit every word of it.

That's it guys and gals. Let me know

As I comment here, I am still muddled and wondering that are you paying way too less or I am just taking your post in a wrong way. Don't you think so? I did not wish to spoil this thread but I, as a writer was forced to ponder, what I need to do, in order to get those priceless $8. Here are the some points, which I have analyzed.
    1) You want writers for TV shows ( not mentioned the type of TV shows) which they may not have watched in their life. I am sure they would initially face difficulty in understanding and getting a hang of the plot. Writing is still a secondary aspect.

    2) Moreover, you mentioned that you will be paying $ 8 per show, which means $8 per 1200-1500 words for a 60 mins episode and 900-1000 words for 30 minute shows. Am i right? In case of 30 episode its fine to some extent. Though I am still wondering that I would have to spend 30 minutes to watch the video and thereafter collaborate my thoughts and bring them together to write a piece. A 60 minutes episode would seem horrendous because for writing it one would have spend an hour just to watch the episode, and if it so happens that the TV show is not of the writer's interest, then what can be more annoying than it.

Let me summarize it: 1) You are paying way too less and expecting much out of it. 2) What we pay we get, is a popular cliche` and in your case it is apt, so it would be my humble request to you to please hike the pay, as in that case you will get many takers who would deserve the payment else anyone can write a piece with poor grammar and awful sentence structure. I am writing this because I don't think this is the payment standard on BHW and I believe writers deserve more. thanks

Let me clarify. I am looking for writers to watch popular shows. Such as Vampire Diaries, Man Up, The Closer, Rizzoli and Isles, etc. All TV shows that are now on the air. If you are going to watch the show, you might as well get paid telling people what happened in the episode.

For instance, the recap would go something like this:

"The scene opens with Roger going into the refrigerator. Martha walks in the door and asks what he is doing..."

The recap is for people who have missed the show and would like to read what happened scene by scene instead of watching it. I am paying $8/recap regardless if it is a 60 minute show (42 minutes without commercials) or 30 minute shows (21 minutes without commercials) You can easily get the name of characters from the show or the show website.

Hope that clears it up. $8 is the starting price. The reason why the amount for 1200-1500 words is the fact that I can't pay higher right now. But if you are good and reliable, it will go up to $10. Right now I need to get people who can run the test run to see if they are up to snuff to be able to write for me. I appreciate the advice and hope I have cleared up any misunderstandings.
