I am looking for payment processor that uses or has payment url links option that customers can use to place their order.

I noticed that a lot of people are not talking about the use of payment url links as a method of processor payment and I am wondering if they are not that recommended or good for business.

There are loads of payment processors that uses payment url links for customers to order but as usual, I always recommend the ones that works which are; stripe and paypal payment links.

Although there are other processors that I and my partners are using that also have payment url links so it depends on what you are looking for.

please can you tell reasons why payment url links can be used without any issues?

Payment url links can be used without any issues because I and my partners have been using it for different businesses in different niches/industries without any issues. It can be sent to customers via email or chat to order and it can also be interlinked on any text or button on your website.

Payment links can work, but they're often more manual. You have to generate each link, send it to the customer, and rely on them contacting you first, which can reduce conversions. If you're processing consistent volume, a rental high-risk payment gateway is usually a more scalable option. They often come with processing fees (around 15–16%), but in return you get a more stable setup that's designed for higher-risk businesses and is generally less prone to sudden account issues.

Can you name one of such payment gateways ?

Stripe Payment Links, Square through invoices or a POS link, and PayPal via PayPal.me or its invoicing tool. All three are no code, you generate a URL and send it.

Links for payment work great in many cases, especially when it comes to easy transactions or services, but sometimes it is not the best option to scale because of your limited influence on the customer’s experience and tracking. Many companies use hosted checkout pages or similar tools.
