Guys,

I have some legal clients.

Most have their domain as the FIRM NAME which pretty much sucks and says nothing to Google's bot.

With that said, the LA-CA-based .com domains are all stashed away. The good ones, I mean.

I can do (exact match best term).law

I am old-school. I like .com but there aren't many left.

Does anybody think a .law is worse?

There isn't a site with .com version up thus if somebody searched for that and thought it was a .com - they wouldn't get our traffic by accident. I thought of that?

Many thanks in advance...

It's a valid idea...I would think that A .law TLD is appropriated for a law firm
It would be a problem if your clients were ice cream shops

thank you.

I am feeling like there's .com and nothing else but that doesn't feel realistic in late 2024. Most .coms are spoken for or being stashed.

I just looked at a domain where the guy asked $1,000,000!!!! No kidding. No revenue. Just total vanity. And trust me, it wasn't that good. I would have paid $10,000 max. We were off by two zeros and that's a bit delta :)
