I suggest you look into purchasing scrapebox. Pings and does a lot more

pingdevice is probably the best of those mentioned. Before I started using it I would use pingomatic. Either will work but pingdevice is definitely superior.

You know pingdevice just sends your site to pingomatic? I guess it's cool for people that got lots of blogs, but I made a folder in my bookmarks with links to pingomatic for each of my blogs and I right click "Open all bookmarks" on folder and BOOM, all pinged.

brilliant idea! may i expand on your awesome idea that if you manually edit your bookmarks.html (if using ff anyways) when doing this, it should be a lot quicker to bookmark initially.

I guess if you are using FF, but I'm Google Chrome I just open my folder and right click on the first tab "Close other tabs" takes me 10 seconds.
