Looking for Indian / 3rd world country workers

Hello there,

I am in need of at least 1 worker from a 3rd world country. I don't have a huge budget to source someone from my country, therefore i am looking for someone in another country.

The job:
The website you will work for has a live chat line, we are looking for someone with simple English skills to answer basic client questions. Full training will be provided.
This is a very easy job, can be done while you multitask or do something else online.
The payment can be done online by PayPal. Daily / Weekly payment.

We will need more of your time as we go along. This can be a very stable job, looking for slots 24/7 (mostly midnight shift eastern time)

Budget depends on shift time.

I would advise you to check out onlinejobs.ph They charge $50 just to find someone but you will not need to pay any further commisions. I'm sure you will get over 100 applicants that can work as live chat support. Expect to pay between $150 - $250 per month full time. Filipino staff are the best in my opinion.

And, these thread has unintentionally evolved from someone looking for a freelancer to a thread of discussing whether India or China is a third-world country.
The definition is pretty clear in the Wikipedia links, you guys just have to read it. It's a term from Cold War, which are not used much now, replaced with "developing economics".



Both India and my country are there, both as developing countries.
Should we worry about that? No.
India, like my country, have some focus centers, some part of India are well developed, but some part of them are under developed. Go to China, the eastern seaboard of China is really developed and looks like any Western cities, but you would see that in western part of China even a simple road travel is difficult. Go to Indonesia, try to go to Bali or Jakarta. Compare it with backwater areas such as Papua or Maluku.

But let me tell you something why developing countries have cheaper labor. It's because US$ have better value than most currency in Asia.
Consider the minimum salary in US, it's $ 7.25. For a standard 160 hours of work, it came to $ 1160.
The minimum monthly salary in Indonesia is only around $ 227.
What does that mean?
An average people in US is paid five times more than average people in Indonesia, not because of US people is smarter and better, that's because their currency is better.

Consider giving a random people in Indonesia $ 1160, a minimum salary in US. It's translated to around 12 M IDR, which is the salary of an expert programmer with 2-3 years of experience. So, it's not about the Western people are better, that's because the economic position in Asia is weaker than its Western counterparts, making the Asian work force look "cheaper".

TLDR : Asian workers, or the so-called "third world countries" workers are paid less in dollar NOT because we got less skills, it's because our economy is weaker (for now).
