Looking for ideas

I would like to pay someone to teach me to market or do some marketing for me. Both would be preferable but not necessary.

I have been asking a lot of people how I can market my products online and I get so many different opinions that I’m confused, I don’t know who to trust.

I don’t know what works these days because last time I made money online marketing was about 5 years ago then I moved into something else that I can’t mention because I’ll be accused of trying to sell something.

I’ve put a lot of work into creating things that I know people will appreciate but I don’t know how to sell online. The more I read and research the more confused I get.

If you’re looking to pay someone, you should post on HAF or WTB section of the forum.

As for marketing, it’s very vague. You can market products in different ways.

Examples are: Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Instagram Automation, Reddit Ads, Snapchat Ads, etc

no need to pay some one for to marketize your product just run your google adwords at your product or else fb ads for direct users.
or else your can promote your product here also at BHW. just purchase marketing place account of BHW and post your promoting page here

Trust no one, dear, if you feel confused. A lot of threads are being discussed here regarding marketing products and most of them require you to set up a site first. Or a sturdy traffic source. Do that and rest follows

I’m teaching people to trade options and forex, I also have ten positive self help subliminal videos and lots of self improvement books I’ve written. I make some money trading but it’s not enough to live the way I do all the time, I should read a book on how to live frugally! So I make money leading walks and I also have a psychology/fitness course thats face to face I’m trying to get people into here with a one day bootcamp.

A sturdy traffic source that is the challenge for me maybe putting a ad on here would help, maybe jarvee, maybe a YouTube video but then you’d have to get traffic to that too. I used to post political videos and talk about a current political situation and then talk about a issue people have and then market a product I don’t think that works anymore it’s harder

I worry that google ads will cost a lot and not get you sales and by the time you test to find out what keywords get sales you may be out of pocket marketing on here I’ll look into that sounds promising, but I can’t teach anyone to market

Do you think there’s any point in marketing my product here look at the comments they don’t want to trade they think all trading is a scam and don’t know how to manage the risk. There are dodgy people out there teaching others to trade, but there are dodgy people in every industry. There are good people too.

There's two possible options, not limited to two but two I can think of quickly:

1) You can offer your services, courses for free on your website for a limited amount of time or until you have built up a decent active community base. It could be some sort of forum or website with a shoutbox for people to discuss trades and other things. You can even allow people to follow your trades and give them a brief explanation as to why you are making them so they can see you're somebody worthy of trust.

You can also make short Youtube videos showing charts (assuming you work on technical analysis, even if you are a fundamentals trader you can still use the charts).

Eventually as your community grows you could possibly charge members a low subscription fee or charge for the courses. You could even keep them free for existing members and charge the new members.

2) You could do the same as number one but only make the short Youtube videos free and charge a low membership subscription fee for being part of the community or being able to follow the trades you make. You could charge for one-to-one training and charge for the courses/e-books. As somebody mentioned you could sell on Udemy or you could even sell on your own website once you have started.

Both of these will help establish trust, and look like an authority figure and not look like just another Instagram trader claiming they can make anyone rich quickly. Keep in mind that this may take time, especially building the website if you haven't done it before, and growing an active community. You mentioned you earn some money already which is great as this should put less pressure on you to rush this process. You could carry on what you are doing and work towards this. I have witness somebody do a mixture of the two steps I mentioned above and they are doing fairly well for themselves at the moment.

If you are looking to find people interested in trading a good place to start is eToro. If you post your trades there and make short explanations, just enough for people to make sense of what you are doing, people will begin to follow if they like the look of it. Then you can answer questions on your profile or on replies to your posts on there. You can eventually build a website and try and move some of your followers onto there.

Completely agree with the above post about offering free services. Giving away freebies is a great way to start out at building your brand. Everyone will accept something for free and if it's slightly valuable then they will consider using your service in the future.
